It looks as though Penguins fans are not the only ones impressed with young Joe Morrow’s play over the first two preseason games. The 18-year-old has been an offensive force and defensive stud and it hasn’t gone unnoticed in the Pittsburgh locker room.
Morrow, who recorded a goal in Saturday’s win over the Minnesota Wild, played exceptionally in the Penguins first contest against the Detroit Red Wings. His smooth skating and phenomenal vision make him an offensive threat from the defensive end. It is not as though his defensive responsibilities have suffered either. Morrow has been a rock on defense and looked comfortable playing alongside All-Star Kris Letang.
