Moving to a conference with North Carolina and Duke would excite any basketball coach. Schools like Wake Forest, Maryland, and North Carolina State also have rich traditions that would appeal to most anybody. Jamie Dixon is no different. The Panthers basketball Head Coach stated this morning that the move is exciting but wanted critics to know that Pitt’s administration did everything possible to make the Big East a national power.
