Penguins fans were justifiably angered after Ray Shero selected a defenseman in the first round of the 2011 NHL Draft. But, as more research was conducted on Joe Morrow, the anger turned to excitement.

The Portland Winterhawk’s defenseman may not have been the best player available at pick twenty-three, but he could have the most potential of anybody that was left.
