Graham, Panthers have shot in open Big East

Arrests, underachievement, and early departures have headlined most of the Pitt football news for the last year. There were also a couple of embarrassing coaching mishandles, if you haven’t heard. Finally though, talk of a new and exciting season has arrived. And, there is room to be cautiously optimistic.

Recently College Football Zealots posted their Pitt Panthers preview for the 2010 season.

Bryan from Pitt Script gave his thoughts and, despite concerns of a new system and lackluster recruiting class, the Panthers could contend for the crown. Few of the Conference’s teams feature playmakers like Ray Graham, Brandon Lindsey, and Mike Shanahan. There is significant talent left over from the Dave Wannstedt era; it will be interesting to see how new coach Todd Graham utilizes it.
