Panthers recruits compete, excel in All-Star game

Surely by now even every casual Pitt fan has heard of Khem Birch, but how many have heard of John Johnson? The speedy point guard has drawn comparisons to Scotty Reynolds–but with a shot. He is one of the premier players coming out of Philadelphia this year and will compete with Isiah Epps for backup point-guard responsibilities.

With Epps, Johnson, Travon Woodall, and Ashton Gibbs all enrolled at Pitt next year, it is possible that Johnson will redshirt. One thing is certain though, the Panthers will have no trouble at the point guard position for years to come.
