Adams, two other possible Pitt recruits consensus top 70 prospects

Steven Adams is an almost mythical figure. He has only played two tournaments in the United States and competes professionally in New Zealand. The 6’10″ teenager is a beast on the glass and has nice touch on the offensive side of the ball. A possible frontcourt of Adams and Khem Birch is the type of cast that will be needed to lead Pitt to the Final Four. But, with so little exposure, are Panther fans setting up for a let down?

Not so, according to Ballin is Habit. Adams ranks in the top 70 on their list of the top 2012 recruits.

Two other possible recruits, Omar Calhoun and Andre Drummond, also find themselves on the list. Even grabbing just one of the two talents could leave Pitt with three McDonald’s All-Americans on one team–something many Panther fans saw as a slim possibility ten years ago.
